I envision a world where ordinary people choose to be extraordinary regardless of the status quo.

As an innovative leader and critical thinker, Benjamin is always poised to push past the status quo. His interests are in Energy, Additive Manufacturing and Applied Mechanics all coupled with Entrepreneurship. He is currently a student researcher at the Sustainable Thermal Engineering Laboratory at ASU. As an undergraduate, he developed the start-up BenO Electricals traveling door-to-door repairing appliances. Through this, he developed his entrepreneurial spirit and was able to fund his studies at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). At KNUST he served as a student mentor and Vice Chairman of the Mechanical Engineering Students Association’s Trade and Technology Fair where he supervised teams of Mechanical Engineering students in building projects. Benjamin strongly believes that the myriad of experiences, networks and knowledge he has obtained as an international student give him the opportunity to tackle problems from many different perspectives.
