I want to use my talent to improve people's standards of living by building better houses and roads in Uganda, Africa and the world.

Wilson Bikaba was born and raised Nalinaibi, Uganda. From a young age, he had the interest to improve the infrastructure of his country. He graduated with a diploma in mathematics, physics, and economics at Kiira College Butiki in 2013. Wilson joined Arizona State University in August of 2014 to pursue a degree in civil and environmental engineering. He will graduate in May of 2018. His passion to give back to his community drove him into charity work. He has completed more than 200 hours, offering his services in protecting endangered bird species, increasing food production, and improving sanitation of economically disadvantaged people in the Phoenix area. In order to gain a deeper understanding of his area of study, Wilson completed an internship at Zenitaka and Hyundai joint venture. He worked with other students to run tests on the material used to construct the New Nile Bridge. Wilson also worked on several class projects, which include the design of different components of a water treatment plant. He also designed cost-effective steel and concrete sections of a multistory building while meeting relevant safety regulations. After his studies, Wilson plans to go back to return home and work toward rebuilding the infrastructure of Uganda and the African continent.
