Being a changemaker means you have the potential to make a positive change in your individual community and broader communities as well. It means being able to see a social problem and respond to it by creating tangible solutions. Additionally, it means doing something that will empower other people and make their voices heard.

 

 

Saye Tokpah is a Mastercard Foundation Scholar at Arizona State University pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental and Resource Management. His interests lie in the management of natural resources in general and on environmental regulations and natural resource policy in particular. He is passionate about creating positive change. He is very involved in university activities and currently serves as president of International Student Fellowship (ISF). Saye enjoys serving his community through volunteering activities. In five to six years he wants to become an evidence–based environmentalist and natural resource management specialist.
