Because I value safety of people, properties and money and have interest in risk management, I will use my Actuarial and Statistics skills to enhance risk management and financial security in Africa.

Jeaninne Ingabire is a Mastercard Foundation Scholar at Arizona State University. She expects to graduate in May 2018 with a degree in Statistics and a certificate in Actuarial Science. Given her strong interest in insurance and Risk management, she feels as though pursuing a career as an actuary is extremely fitting. Jeaninne has passed both P and MFE actuarial certification exams of Society of Actuaries, and plans to take FM with in February 2018. Jeaninne gained valuable professional experiences by interning with Prime Insurance ltd in Rwanda, and she is now looking forwarding to joining Prudential Financial as an Actuarial Associate after her graduation. Her desire of giving back to her community provided her with an additional drive and determination to become a credentialed actuary.
