Being a changemaker means doing something, no matter how small it is, to positively impact the life of other people

Godsway Dorlah is a Mastercard Foundation Scholar in the Master of Science in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Arizona State University. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a certificate in Business and Data Analytics. Godsway’s interest in Logistics in the Supply Chain was as a result of the increasing rate of food waste and spoilage especially in developing countries due to lack of proper infrastructure and Supply Chain Management system. He identified that for example a country like Ghana could be more successful if there are logistics and processes necessary in adding value to agricultural products where this products can be transported to many other countries without the fear of damage. Godsway realized that manufacturing and transportation is necessary to make this happen. He then developed the passion for manufacturing, warehousing, and transportation management and how these different branches within the Supply Chain can be coordinated to implement a successful Supply Chain management system in developing countries. Godsway is also currently working on a project to help especially new companies determine the most efficient ordering system (continuous or the periodic review) with the main focus on reducing inventory cost and at the same time minimizing the cost of ordering.
