6A changemaker is one who desires change in the world by gathering knowledge and resources , and makes that change happen.
Kadiatou’s ultimate career goal is to be a world-renowned expert in the field of energy with a prime focus on renewable energy systems and their implementation as regards to cost, in countries in the Global South and especially The Gambia. She aided in enacting policies that were geared at increasing women participation and excellence in the STEM fields at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Kadiatou hopes to one day play an active role in improving the quality and access to education of young girls in The Gambia, through advocacy and social entrepreneurship.
