One of the ways I plan to make impact is by being a part of change in the medical sector where patients can afford healthcare even if it involves complex medical devices. This is because biomedical engineers would be able to design them to be less costly.

Growing up as a child in Ghana, Queen always came up with ideas to solve problems around her. As a child, she did tasks involving machines with joy, fun, and confidence, knowing that she would be able to say, “I fixed it!”. In an internship in Ghana, she collaborated with other engineers in troubleshooting, maintenance and servicing of medical equipment. Her core values are excellence and integrity, with one of her natural skills being idea-development. She has a passion to solve problems around her through new and innovative technology. From this passion, she aspires to be a biomedical engineer with the ability to develop the designing and manufacturing industries of biomedical engineering in Ghana and Africa.
