Dzifa Kwaku aspires to play a major role in the development of individuals. She is passionate about leveraging her entrepreneurial and intellectual skills to enrich her community. During summer 2017, Dzifa interned at the Accra Regional Hospital, where she worked to keep medical devices operational for life-saving medical procedures. This fueled her drive to develop technologies for healthcare delivery to be safe and affordable. Also, she had the opportunity to serve as the Vice-President of the Biomedical Engineering Students’ Society of KNUST, which enhanced her critical thinking, public speaking, and organizational skills. During her tenure, she teamed up with other students to build medical projects which were displayed at the annual Trade and Technology fair. She is interested in opportunities geared toward the design of devices, instruments, and software to advance healthcare.
