I envision a world where innovation is being utilized to solve healthcare problems.

Diane has a keen interest in leadership, governance, and the role of engineering in the development of her home country, Rwanda, and the African continent as a whole. She strongly believes that health is one of the major contributors to the development of a nation and this fuels her drive for embracing the field of biomedical engineering. Diane aspires to work with teenagers and young adults to develop community health programs and embark on projects that will provide counselling, sensitization, and health education for her community.
