5As a changemaker, every day I have an opportunity and the power to transform and impact lives and to give back to society.
In fall 2017 Maame Kwamah partnered with a team of three other students to place as a bronze finalist in the Supply Chain Management Case Study Competition, and served as a volunteer teaching assistant in a International Development class with the School of Sustainability. From 2014 to 2017, Maame Kwamah ran an annual campaign on Reproductive Health awareness for adolescent girls in public schools. She also served as KNUST's representative on the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Council and spearheaded the organization of its global event “International Service Day” for all Scholars in partnering tertiary institutions. Maame Kwamah has relevant work experiences with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, London and Vodafone, Ghana. She is an alumna of the 2016 Barack Obama’s Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI)-West Africa, the Sponsors of Educational Opportunity (SEO) Africa 2016, and Talentmine Nigeria. Maame Kwamah aspires to become a human resource strategist for international businesses. Currently, she is looking out for opportunities in research and internships in the areas of Strategic HRM, International Human Resource Management, Sustainability and Labour Justice.
