I envision a world where all people regardless of gender, orientation, and disability are allowed to fulfill their full potential and empower them with a new skill.

Owusu Philimon is an iron-willed, committed sports enthusiast and engineer at heart. He believes life is about chances and opportunities. He recognizes university education as an opportunity not only to pursue his dreams in Mechanical Engineering, but to be a lifelong learner and become a well-rounded individual.  For over a year, he volunteered to work overtime to help final year students prepare for their final exams. Having faced the challenge of pursuing higher education in the midst of financial difficulties, he understood the needs of the students and was always willing to offer them support. Many of the final year students he sacrificed time and effort to support, mentor, and teach successfully graduated from Senior High School, an achievement he envisioned and is very proud of considering the quality of education in his community. Getting the opportunity to work with such a young group of students taught him to be selfless, empathetic, committed, open-minded, and to be a servant first to others.  Philimon takes satisfaction in using his knowledge and privilege to serve others in his community. His desire to see others grow with opportunities has always fueled his engagements in roles that he can play by setting a positive example to the young children in his community and country.
