Being a Mastercard Foundation Scholar sets an avenue for me to interact with others, share ideas on pivotal developmental goals and an access to see the world and its people without any restrictions or judgmental thoughts. Also, as a Scholar I have and grow the edge to put thoughts and believes into reality for the betterment of myself and community.

Mabel is a young adult who strongly believes in commitment and interpersonal relationships. She is  purpose-driven, proven to adjust herself to situations and a problem solver with quick thinking on her feet. She is a Materials Science and Engineering major. With an interest in understanding technological advancement in the world, she decided to pursue her major of study. Mabel is passionate about helping the youth within her community and the world at large. To touch the lives of the youth especially young girls, she with her peers formed a Peer Educator group where they had the platform to interact with their classmates and younger students in her junior high school. Also she teaches the senior high school students during her vacations and mentors them about the various degrees in the university. She also believes hard-work pays therefore all her teachings are jeered toward working hard and achieving your dreams. Mabel has mentored a lot of students and is still mentoring. She has set goals and plans she wishes to follow and accomplish for personal development. She plans to join forces with people with the same passion as hers and form or join a non-governmental foundation that impacts and influences the lives of the youth in Africa and the world at large. Currently, she is a mastercard scholar and a very proud one.
