Christian Bagaya is a young Congolese pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Ashesi University, Ghana. He is an aspiring software engineer, and an Artificial intelligence and machine learning enthusiast. He aims to contribute to the development of his community by harnessing the power of technology. He joined the Fulton School of Engineering to pursue a master’s degree in Computer under Arizona State University through the International Accelerated Degree Program (IADP) in the 3+1+1 under the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Program. He has gained first-hand experience in software engineering by working and interning with companies like Bank Of America (Dublin), KnackApp and Cloud9Xp (Nairobi). To give back to his community, he organized a Web Development bootcamp in his hometown Goma, to introduce young people to Web Technologies and train them on how to use technology to solve problems in the community.
