A changemaker is one who strives to make a difference in his or her own way without necessarily having a big position or earning so much money. To me, a changemaker is any ordinary person willing to make a positive impact through performing ordinary, but worthwhile acts in extraordinary ways.

Being a firm believer in the statement “nothing should ever be a hindrance to a holistic self-development,” Tracy Pokua Tenkorang is passionate about removing obstacles the next generation encounter when desiring to be the best version of themselves. She believes in youth empowerment and its ripple effect on the world greatly contributes to positive global impact. Her conviction that humanity is its own solutions to world problems causes her to strongly believe in the power of service to society. She interned at the St. Theresa’s Credit Union, in the Human Resource Department of the Graphic Communications Group Limited and in the Know Your Customer unit of the Compliance Department at the Société Generalẻ Bank. She greatly benefited from her exposure to the importance of developing and maintaining positive human relations among all organizational stakeholders during these internships. Being a beneficiary of assistance from many unexpected sources, Tracy believes in giving back to society through developing an appreciation for the unique talents possessed by every individual on earth. She also is committed to help in the formation and nurturing processes of the numerous talents possessed by all she encounters. This is what propelled her to pick up the role of Head girl for Domestics in her Senior High School, volunteer as a class two teacher in the Kaneshie Presbyterian School, a cell representative for her hall and a peer counsellor in the university. With her belief that music is food to the soul, Tracy sings in the choir and plays the violin and as such aspires to give everyone the opportunity of learning to play a musical instrument. This has influenced her desire to build a music school for the youth of her community. Tracy longs to leave behind an indelible mark on the world, a legacy and a life worthy of inspiration, emulation and full of challenge to future generations.
