Being a Mastercard Foundation Scholar means being the hope of the next generation. To me, I believe it is an opportunity to rewrite the story of my community; to be the one to inspire somebody to achieve a greater height.

Isaac is a purpose-driven young man who believes that every barrier can be overcome with the right powerful mindset. As a third of six children, Isaac is the first in his family to have a college education. Growing up in a rural community, his experiences have taught him to build himself up to rewrite the story of his community. He believes that the world we have today, be it good or bad, was greatly influenced by those who lived before us and therefore, as the current generation, we have the responsibility of making the world a better place for those who will come after us-this has been his driving force. As part of giving back to society, Isaac volunteered with the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI-KNUST) to undertake a project called the Support for Education in Africa (SEA) in 2019 where he helped mentor, inspire, and teach young students in the Eastern region of Ghana. Isaac holds mentoring close to his heart and is an active member of the KNUST Peer Counselling Program and the MasterCard Peer Mentorship Program. Isaac envisions a world where quality education is not just reserved for a few but is a basic right for all, specifically those in the rural communities of Ghana.
