It is a dream come true to be among a community of ethical leaders, who are being groomed to lead now and in the future to bring change to Africa and the world.

Bright Seglah, affectionately called Seglah Senior, is a passionate, self-motivated, and hardworking young man who sees challenges as motivations and opportunities. He is currently in his senior year of Civil Engineering at Arizona State University where he will continue toward earning his Masters degree. From there, he will proceed to research in the field of Transportation Engineering, focusing specifically on Pavement systems. Bright is very passionate about seeing young individuals, who may not have the opportunity to pursue higher education, find something fulfilling which can earn them their daily income and decently improve their lives. In the spirit of that, he has been able to assist and mentor 3 young individuals in his community into the technical University in Accra. Alongwith serious academic work, Seglah also takes great interest in gaining experience from internships, playing sports, and expanding his leadership skills. During the past academic year, Seglah has held leadership positions such as the organizing secretary for the Civil Engineering Students Association, and a MasterCard peer mentor. Seglah possesses a unique skill of being able to explain complex course work to his colleagues and hopes to develop this skill further, realizing his goal of becoming a lecturer. As the saying goes “ornithological species of the same plumage turn to congregate to the same proximity” Seglah looks forward to working with like minded individuals who want to impact in their communities and hope to establish an NGO that seeks to equip youth with skills that will complement their formal education.
