Nadine Tim is Mechanical Engineering student who values her community and believes that the world needs love more than anything else. Nadine hopes to integrate the knowledge from her study of Engineering with her interest in policy and education to contribute to the adjustment of developmental policies and the growth of manufacturing industries in Africa. Nadine values diversity and has held various student leadership positions which made her an ideal candidate for the Commonwealth Future Student Leadership Workshop where she, and a team of four other young people tackled the issue of Xenophobia and Hate Crime within Commonwealth Nations. Nadine is also a Havard Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program Alumni and is responsible for motivating first-generation scholars to apply and take part in the Crossroads experience and global network. Nadine worked with Agility, a global logistics company where she led projects on Petroleum and Mining local content in Ghana. She represented her company at the Ghana Mining and Energy Summit and Young Entrepreneur’s Forum. Through her work, she was able to improve her communication skills, networking, report writing, and research. Nadine also enjoys using music, writing, and dance to connect with people of other cultures and to maintain her joy in every situation.
