Being a Mastercard Foundation Scholar to me means, I am a step away to become one of the greatest leaders to bring positive change to my society. This family of scholars has also been an amazing opportunity for me to learn what teamwork means and that, there are others that share the same vision as mine.

Priscilla Agyemang is a self-motivated, committed and passion-driven individual, who aspires to be a Materials Engineer and a Professor. As a future professor, Priscilla plans to bring solutions to real-world problems and create a safer environment by providing innovative solutions to challenges being faced in her country and beyond. She envisions a world where young individuals, especially women are empowered financially to the highest level of education by setting up an organization in her community where an annual art program will be organized to turn recyclable waste into beautiful portrait designs for an exhibition. With this vision at heart and her love for arts, she volunteered to participate in a community art event geared at encouraging Nima youth to explore their creativity and financially empower themselves. Also, she volunteered to tutor her course mates during her studies at KNUST and looks forward to becoming the same impact here at Arizona State University. She believes being a transformational leader is all about bringing positive change to her society.
