As a Mastercard Foundation Scholar, my goal is to become an active contributor in my community through transformational leadership.

Juliana Afaribea is a focused civil engineering student and aspires to be a structural engineer. Excellence, discipline and integrity have always guided her in life. She is keen on youth empowerment because she believes it can increase the capacity of the youth to make choices that can transform their community. This vision has led her into embarking on a project to train the youth in her community with skills in bead making. She has collaborated with the Eagle Eye group from the International Leadership Foundation to organize seminars on sanitation in her community. Juliana believes teamwork and selflessness can help solve major problems in Ghana, her country. She looks forward to utilizing all resources around her to cause a positive change. Her love for music is just amazing.
